Homeless Management Information System (HMIS)

HMIS is a local information technology system used to collect client-level data and data on the provision of housing and services to individuals and families experiencing or at-risk of experiencing homelessness. This allows agencies using HMIS to better coordinate services and support for clients across our community.

Each Continuum of Care is responsible for selecting an HMIS software solution that complies with HUD’s data collection, management, and reporting standards. The TN-510 CoC utilizes Charity Tracker HMIS created and administered by Simon Solutions. The Housing, Health and Human Services Alliance of Rutherford County is the HMIS Lead for Murfreesboro/Rutherford County TN-510, providing training and support to agencies that use HMIS.

If your agency would like training on the use of HMIS, or would like to begin using HMIS, contact our HMIS Coordinator at dstringer@h3arc.org.
